mag vs mgt
feels like a lifetime since my last post.. so im here.last week was pretty much my internship at mgt, the company in mandarin. he made me start on a report on ethylene glycol (err what??) yeah, in my head, i had the same thing. ethylene glycol is a substance generally used as an antifreeze in automobiles. talked to several experts on EG. i know much about the industry it is in. oh well, i have not finished it yet, ill be back there monday next week. the people were ok. i had my own room. you know one thing that freaked me out, i called joseph several times during the day, then later on, he called me into his office and had me listen to one of the calls i made to one of the manufacturers of EG. sheessh! so we had our conversations in his tapes? freaked me out when he said, i want you to listen to this, then i heard my voice and all that. he said that was the only conversation he recorded. (not sure if he was lying - whatever!) the place was okay, i literally had to wake up sooo early, twice was 5am i think. and last week - i never had enough sleep. so much for an internship to impress my boss ey? bad timing.. but i pulled it off. was never late and kept my boss' ok sign on my work. i did pretty well, but still im not yet done with the report. let's see.
the people are ok, but definitely not as sunny as how we are here in magnolia. imagine this: magnolia- beaches, mgt-in a far secluded place, magnolia-overwhelming girl power, mgt-umm so-so (big boss is a man), chowtime: magnolia-no definite time but fun, mgt-definite time, ok. office: magnolia-casual and nice, mgt-tight environment. i missed my computer at magnolia when i was there. one very good thing about staying there? i get to go home really early - 5pm!!! at magnolia- i get off at 8. boo!!
for this week, im back here at magnolia, ms. hot/cold requested me in. she wants to keep me here. :)
we'll see..
