Joseph's Birthday

this day started really early. i had to wake up around 6 to get ready for a 9am mass at [i forgot where, but at old dixie highway] an hour drive from our side of town. carmelite monastery. i went with him and his parents. went to hear mass, then met some new people. very refreshing i would say. joseph got Fr.Joseph's blesing for his birthday. think he said it in polish. neat. for me, the sweetest thing Fr. Joe did was the cake. that one below. just a brownie+small doughnut and a small candle.. tadan! blessed birthday cake! =) but before he actually blessed joe, he made some interesting remarks. talk about other blessings. =)










so after breakfast with some folks from the carmelite, they toured me around the parish's park. it was my first time,so even it was drizzling [raining actually] we continued on with the short tour. really nice. then we went to plantation bay and they showed me the houses they were interested in. nice houses. but of course i have my own preferences. those are in my wish list. lunch was at orlando ale house. his dad wanted to take us to the this lobster buffet place.we went around to look for it only to find out it opens at 4pm. oh well, perfect timing for lunch [we had lunch around 2]. after lunch we went to florida mall. walked around. i need that moisturizer. oh well.. went home afterwards. of course, how could i not enjoy the long drive. =)

we stayed at my house until i got the greenlight. nothing grand. just dinner at pf chang's. so much for such short notice. thanks peeps! they brought the small gifts too. good food+good friends+cake+champagne+gifts=good time. he was happy. i was too. =) after dinner, we were getting tired [long day]. headed to my house, he opened the gifts, read the greetings, and took pics. then some quality time to end the night.

i will say it again, ive been very blessed to have you. happy birthday joseph! =)
