Onward and Upward

i dont understand why my previous post is missing.. oh well..

i just got back from a visit to Hubby in MS over the weekend. it was great, well, it is great to see him and all that. this time, mom came with. so that made ravvy more bulked up and trip livelier - in a way that is. so yeah, we ended up leaving jax around 2 in the morning of saturday. we got there around 10.30ish. we picked him up and headed to the hotel. we all played that mind teaser game hubby got from school and ate brunch there. after some puzzle solving, we went to their survivor mall. nothing much in there, just those all glittery fish scales. after some walking around, we went to the casino, isle of capri. it was alright thinking how bad the hurricane was over there. a lot of people. we played just one thing, the slot machine, which can bore you to death. just pressing the same button. it was my first time in a real casino, well gambling isnt really my thing. and im glad i've gone with hubby. just thinking about how dirty [like how many strange fingers touched those machines] the casino is plus the smoke pulled the excitement down. but oh well, it's still alright, i was with hubby! then dinner was at the buffet area in the casino. for the most part, i was eating meat. i loved the oysters. i was also wearing a blinding shirt that i might, just might wear once in this lifetime. after dinner and i few looking around, we headed back to the hotel. parentals would have gone to wal-mart as dad assured us but mom said she was too tired to go out and just decided to change into her sleeping clothes and readied for bed. dad eventually did the same thing. so that meant, not much of an alone time for us. chess was next sensible thing to do. i won, this time for real and my moves at the end were not even as planned. right now, it's sooo gloomy. i dont like it. going back, with my clever husband things got just a little bit better. cb. but way better. [we should have a whole new term for that] chickens we were not. =) eventually he had to go back to his four-cornered room called dorm before midnight.

the next morning at 6, i picked him up and slept in the hotel when we came back. i missed that. sleeping and waking up next to my hubby. but of course, wake up call this time was.. umm, shaky.. as he tells me. all good. sunday morning, mass then lunch at chili's. then we went to se where he can buy me books to feed my eyes and head. nowhere to go in the poor place. it's alright. we decided to just go back to the base and stayed at bowling area while waiting til we had to leave. i was a little disappointed that the parentals didnt kep their promise to leave at 6pm but was wanting to leave at early as 5.yeah, tat could have been a hour more for us. but whateva!

so the cycle begins again... sad goodbyes and kisses, tight hugs and holding hands. again, have never been together for any of our wedding anniversaries. i'm missing you so much. few more weeks - again.. if i could just go there by msyelf i will... iloveyoubebe!
