no more wrong vein

i am still tired from the ms trip but i had to get ravvy from the other house last night, so i did. but i left late because i ended up talking with the parentals. i had a 7.30 medical check-up earlier this morning. hubby woke me up. [his day starts at 4am]. so i went through the check-up then ended up having to do a blood test. ok, so here we go. the nurse took blood initally from my left arm. but then [for some weird reason] it just stopped kind of "free-flowing". it was hurting and i was losing grip of the ball. very little blood was drawn and she needed more. [geesh, im getting dizzy just thinking about it again]. i was telling the nurse im starting to feel sick. [was it about it was too early or because i havent eaten anything just yet?]. another guy was trying to talk to me [ i guess to keep me conscious] he went,"feeling good?" i went, "not really, im feeling sick" . he went, "it's no too bad, so how was your weekend?" then i said "i was in misssssiiiissssipppii....." then i passed out. my head started spinning then it felt like i was having a bad dream that someone was grabbing me or running after me. not too long after, i regained my consciousness. the nurse joked that i tried to slap her [i didnt really]. just when i thought that did it, she still needed more blood. so the right arm did it. it didnt hurt as bad and i didnt pass out plus it had more blood. she had me lie down for awhile before she let me leave. that was crazy! and i was alone, scared me really, specially that i had to drive myself home. oh well, got through it. i still feel a little weird though. so i never should forget, not the left vein. another lesson learned.
