so much for valentine's

so how was your valentine's day?

mine was extraordinarily.. light. let's rewind to monday. it was my first ay at work at watson. gosh, it surprised me how much i missed the corporate life , it wasnt as big as the corporate life i once fell in love with but it was close enough. after almost 5 months of freedom from real estate, i found myself yet again putting up with the same business. but for some reason, this job seems more.. enjoyable compared to my experience with ms. hot and cold, if you still remember her. so cheers to this job that giving me a new environment at least. i like it. =) first off, there's more reason to dress better. . BUT NOW, it's a reason enough. i guess it goes to say that first love never dies. my love for heels that is. i thought i lost that fondness with those shoes that most girls wouldn't want to wear for 5 hours straight, those shoes that would want you to curse having to deal with looking presentable for work at least. but man, as long as it looks good, i can deal with the pain. i realized, comfort isnt my priority. well, unless it's already killing me, then that's a different story. so, yeah, my first love, high heels , never died. i thought it did when i started indulging with flats and slippers, but it never died. it had been patient inside me, waiting to have its turn again. so yay, for the nice carpeted floor at work, and of course.. high heels. =)

so valentine's day, i was at work in the morning then i met up with the parentals at olive garden. i realized i missed them. i guess that automatic "let's meet up" days may have to put on hold for now. oh, they actually visited me at work, on my 2nd day, geesh. not everyone knew who abigail was. but oh well, thought that was sweet. they got me RL perfume, a heart-shaped box of chocolates and a little something from victoria's secret for valentine's. it was really nice of them. although i've been putting the perfume to a test if it seems a little too flowery for me. so far, all the other people i've asked said it smelled good and not too old. so, yeah, i guss it's a keeper. after lunch, i went to get them a gift card from Roy's. that would be my and joseph's gift for them. then i went to Avenue's Mall. on valentine's day. i finally bought that GAP jeans i wanted. i thought enough about it. emotional spender. around 8.30, i hit me that i had to leave, i've been there since i think 6ish. i'm never bored in a mall. i guess i found some comfort there while my husband is 500 miles away from me. i was alone yes, but i wasn't lonely. i'm in love! going home, hubby was surprised i was just leaving the mall past 8.30. by the way, while looking around, i found a nice pair at aldo and nine west, lip liner at MAC, a skirt at express and well, there was another pair of jeans at GAP. going back, i went to the parentals' house to give them our gift. i had to make a quick stop at walgreens to get them a card.

shoot, after lunch i had a pap. freakin first time. violation thrice! and i might have a surgery on my back. freakin scar tissue!

so yeah, i was the parentals', had dinner then left for home. we're going MS this weekend. iloveyoubebe! when i got home, there was this huge box sitting at the front door inside the house. my sister took it in. hubby was on the phone. i opened it.. LONG STEMMED FLOWERS! lillies and red roses! how sweet is that. there's 13 roses and 10 lillies. thank you bebe! i didn't think you were actually going to send me flowers. it is very sweet of him. awww.. yeah, i don't like cheesy endings in movie, but i'm still a little cheesy on flowers. valentines.. first time as married, was sweet. of course, it would have been wayyy better if we were together. im pretty sure next year. =)

with all that said.. Spread the love.

iloveyoubebe!
