Onward and Upward

Saturday. it was jay and angie's wedding. really solemn mass (plus an occassional whining of a toddler), reception at the hyatt hotel. everything was pretty simple. Congratulations Angie and Jay! church wedding was in the morning, lunch reception then an after-party [which i enjoyed more] at night. around 8, we went to Twisted Martini - with some old folks - from the lunch reception. oh gosh, imagine your parents - and other aunties and uncles there - in a club or bar. i didnt dance one bit during the reception so when they played some good music, i just had to dance. good thing some of the girls were there. it was nice hanging out with venice, avi and the others girls i forgot which names. i finally wore my editor shorts that had been sitting in my closet too [that i was happy about too]. oh and another thing, how about when we were taking shots [us girls] for the bride [tequila], dad took my shot and said i might get drunk [that would have been just my 1st shot then i was just on my 2nd drink]. very subtle though and he drank it instead. =/ i didnt think it was funny, but something like this may be far from happening again. [shaking of the head] plus they took pictures of us while we were dancing?! oh gosh. well, we left 11.30 [i know, just when it was just getting started]. yup, because it's late and they had to get ready for dad's bday the next day. while we were dancing, i missed it when hubby and i did that. hmm, to feel better i called him occassionally to say hi and talked for bits. soon baby! iloveyou!

Sunday. it was dad's bday. happy 53rd bday dad. they had a party at their house. same people. just talked with them and what not. also talked to hubby for the most part of the night. left the house midnight. i havent caught up on some good sleep so until now im still tired. oh well.
