Onward and Upward

feels like it was a month ago. my my my.. ok, picking up from 2 weeks ago. [man that's long..]

here we go...

so yeah the flowers from mr. JD and the conference. got home monday. then tuesday night we went to see 40-year old virgin.

movie was ok. hilarious at some point. not too many sikat actors [sikat=really famous].

definitely not an expensive movie to make.

tuesday morning did not start on a happy note. =( hopefully things will be ok then.

then wednesday, freedom! oh yeah! great news to me. im FREE! no more dealing with ms. hot/cold! yeepee! =) [if i could only put in thousands of smiles here!] with so much joy, i have to share it with joe. i went to visit him at his work to tell him the great news! he was surprised, that's good then. when he saw me, he knew something's up. so yeah i told him. never been so relieved! of course we had to celebrate, i had to celebrate. and a better way to put it, good dinner at a nice place, lighthouse grille. cheesecake was ok but not great. didnt make it in our honor list. [even if our server claimed theirs is the best,ummm] wow, freedom, it really felt good [you have no idea] yey, less drama now. =)

thursday [first day of being free] slept really well. met up with m for lunch. olive garden. manicotti+tea+long talk. then did a little shopping. m had to leave earlier than i had to so i went around checking stuff. i miss doing that. back home, i shop a lot. i meant there was even a time i bought 3 pairs of shoes, and i didnt realize i did it in 3 weeks. 1 pair each week?! well, bad thing is they were not the regular shoes, those were really nice shoes [i miss manila, sniff..]. i remember my mom asking me why i kept buying new ones. [cant help it, i need shoes. ] but that day i resorted to just tops from express. not bad. im such an emotional shopper [always have been]. im happy or sad, something to celebrate, something to forget.. i mark it by buying something. love at first sight works for me when shopping. spending some quality time with myself, my phone rang. joe was on his way to the mall, perfect timing. [i was acutally looking for a gift for him] oh well, we met up then looked around. ran his errands with him. dinner at outback. for the first time ever NO Hot Tea. cant believe it for a split second. poor me, i resorted to warm water [how pathetic] then went to my house. just chilled [as he puts it]. and yes, important discussion. all good, we're in this together.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOSEPH!. that was friday. oh my, looonnnnggg day! read on the next post. =)
