someone else's engagement
2:53 am, still can't sleep. i was watching this celebreality show titled my fair brady. a love story between a 47 year-old rich bachelor and a 22 year-young model [think she's brazilian]. anyway, in a nutshell, as a bachelor, an established one take note, he's not attractive though [but better than trump], can't commit as much as adriana is expecting from him [marriage]. i found myself watching the conclusion of the tv show. fast forward, they were thinking of splitting-up, but the guy realized things, proposed to the girl realizing that he'll be needing the prawning in his life. girl's make-up was still in place even with all the crying. they will be spending their lives together.
it just got me thinking if that was adriana's dream proposal. chris bought adriana an apartment should she decide to move out of his place and spread her wings. it broke adriana's heart since it meant that chris can't commit. options are, she'll take the apartment or come home with him as his fiance. he took out the box from his pocket and showed adriana the ring. she cried big time. it felt familiar and different at the same time. familiar in the sense of having the one you love kneel before you and ask you to spend your lives together and different when it got me thinking,what if that was how my husband proposed to me, would have i cried too? i meant, they were alone in the apartment and chris took out the box, didnt take out the ring right away and was taking so long to kneel [well, not too long] i didnt when hubby did, but it was one of the best moments in my life. i didnt like the ring chris got adriana. i wondered if adriana liked it. it was a marque cut [the sharp oblong], with stones on the sides in yellow gold. first of all, i dont like marque, to favor solitaires for engagement rings and please.. no yellow gold. Joseph got me a platinum, a solitaire ring and the priciest stone.
well, im not sure why i actually care. it was my dream proposal, and dream ring. and im married to a great man. good luck to chris and adriana. i hope it is really their reality and not just for the camera. by the way, it's chris from the brady bunch and adrianne is the 1st ever crowned america's next top model. i think i better sleep instead. morning peeps!
