Burpday
Birthday blog coming up..I wasn't at all excited about turning 26 - at least the week before that. It felt just an ordinary day coming. No biggie, I wasn't feeling too old (ouch) neither - just as usual.
So anyway I woke up, got ready for work. Wore a black sweater dress to work with my matte red lipstick. It kind of lifted me up plus some red heels. Co-workers at First Command were very thoughtful - specially Helen! She decorated my office! Such a sweetheart. Then Boss Ken and his wife, Chris, brought this beautiful, delicious Victorian cake! plus a sweet bday card from everybody. Lunch at home, microwaveable pizza and banana with the hubby. Worked at the store, Hattie & Zoe gave me this uber-delish granola bar (i'm a granola bar addict..) and sang this really fast version of Happy Birthday. that was sweet too.
So after that.. went home and slept away. I guess 26 wasn't too bad..
