Cold Feet?
So this might be something that happens...Yes, the dreaded words - and it's me - the Bride.
I am very happily married to my one and only - but today, I started thinking, Do we really need this whole big shebang-is-everything-going-to-go-as-planned wedding? I'm very excited for my 3-foot tall cake, my some 300 mini-wedding cakes, my love-at-first-sight wedding dress, my tall round flowers, my i-fought-for-this invitation design, the fabulous colors!
I guess the bottom line is, for me, this wedding (not the marriage) is make or break.. you know. I just wanted to make sure this wedding gives justice to how beautiful and big of a blessing the love Joseph and I have found and share. Of course, I 'd like people to see and feel that through the wedding. But take note, I'm not becoming any bridezilla, I don't think I've lost my poise no matter how weary I've been - specially being soooo far away. Oh well, a dear friend asked me.. Abi, you still want to wear that dress right? And you want to see that cake right? And yes was the answer. Another friend told me, we'll be there so it will be okay. I agree.
One deep sigh.. a little more than 3 months to go..
