Good sleep then tired again
This past Saturday was glorious. Why? The hubby and I got to SLEEP IN. I got out of bed around 11am. He did around 10:45ish. I didn't have to be at work until 6pm that day. I have never been home straight that long since forever. We had our favorite chicken buffalo wings at home. Good home lunch. Joseph had to be at work at 2pm so he had to leave earlier. Got to spend quality together time with Herc the whole time. Got some home chores done. It truly made me even more excited for my maternity leave! Then I got to work, I closed with Zoe and a couple more people. Zoe and I left the store around 11:30pm already. The mall closed at 10 though that's why. Out of the entire day, we only made the last 2 segments that I had. Phew!
Yesterday, Sunday, Joseph and I served after quite a while. I read the readings. I mummbled a little bit during the first reading but oh well. I shook it off and I think it went well for the second and prayers of the faithful. We had to be at work at 12nn. I was not actually supposed to work but I split the shift with Hattie. She worked it from 9-1:30 and I did 12-7pm. Yeah, quite a long day. The store was quite a mess so I helped stock and what not. Zoe was closing again and I felt bad for her. So glad the hubby is always so nice and such a gentleman to help us out. He took the cardboards and garbage out for us. Zoe was so thankful for him. As when I was leaving, Zoe said he's such a sweetheart. I said yeah, I'm the lucky one. She said, Yeah you are. but I'm tired from this long day
Bebe, thank you so much for letting me do the things I do. I love you so much for always being there for me.
I forgot how good Wendy's fries were until we were there for dinner last night. And for some reason (thanks to my internal heater!) winter has not stopped me from Frosties and milkshakes. Yum!
