Something Fresh

Rewind to Monday, it was Helen's bday. I went to get her an ice cream cake. hum.. Plus candles, then I didn't have anything to light it with. So the hubby suggested I swing by our little house to get our starter - so I did, on top of running errands with him during lunch break, not having enough time to eat lunch, rushing so the ice cream cake won't melt, being late, going home to snag the lighter.. then there's this big box by the front door. interesting. I shoved it inside the house, just barely saw the writing on it. But I'd admit that got me excited. A little background: When Joseph went to Mall of America in MN, he was asking me what Coach bag I'd like, so I gave him a few tips. He brought me home a keychain from Valley Fair, no trace of Coach-ness. So anyway, after work, went home and he had opened the box. Then he handed over to me this huge Coach box. I didnt want to untie the ribbon, it looked so pretty. He said he didn't bring a Coach bag for me, but he bought me one and had it delivered. =) I opened the box, then there was my new Coach bag, pretty huge (as I prefer them), tannish-creamy color, soft pebble leather (as the tag said). Beautiful. Today's its first day out in the real world.

Then yesterday, 2 more things came in. The final proof for the wedding invitation came in. I would have to say my people delivered. It is very simple but very customized. We started from ground up on that invite. Just as I've had it in my head all along. Joseph liked it too, I was happy about that. Then came some new shoes too. I ordered new flats from Nine West. Nothing too fancy, just new flats. It's black patent.

Yup, there you go, my fresh ones this week. We are so excited to go home to FL next week. I hope my wedding coordinator makes up for the past. I feel I have mellowed down when it comes to her. I'll this flow-I think I got the decisions for the big ones covered anyway. After seeing the invite and the insert, it has tremendously added some peace of mind to me. I am so glad.
