Onward and Upward

Bye Trishy

I lost a very dear friend, Trish. Yesterday morning.

She left me a voicemail over the weekend that she found out something about Roger by accident when she went to see Roger's grandma. Never got to call her back right away because I was fighting a flu or something over the weekend. Me and Joseph were both sick. We must have gotten it from Joaquin. I last spoke with her Friday so the voicemail may have been from Saturday or Sunday. I left her vm back yesterday, around noon.

Roger called Joseph last night said Trish committed suicide, around 9/10am. Gunshot in the head. In the bathroom while she was cooking breakfast with her mom. She locked the door and did it. When the mom heard the loud thump on the floor, the family had to kick the door open and found Trish. I heard Luca doesn't know yet. Luca is her younger son, just 3/4 years old.

I still haven't grieved. This is too much. Two deaths in less than 2 months, Lolo on Feb 15 and Trish on Mar 30. Trish and I had big plans once I move to Texas... We were Pier 1/Target/Ross buddies. She taught me frugality can be fabulous. She showed me patience with clearance sections. She inspired more than she knew.

I wish I called her sooner... I luv you too Trishy.
