I LOVE YOU JOSEPH! Can't wait to see you every morning when i open my eyes..
im so sorry blog for [not ignoring] but not updating you. here, ill be making up for it.
so from the fishing day, lots of fun. for a first time fisher girl. =) was happy!
tuesday, i was really enjoying this
vacation. all good! so anyway, tuesday, i picked joseph from work then we went to the avenue's mall. ive always liked that mall, it just takes you longer to get there [time-wise]. anyway, bought m a gift for her leaving for england. afterwhich, met up with zel and gracee at wasabi. good dinner! =)talk about
frog meat. the things you make me do my love[!] i ate frog meat. not bad, thanks gracee for being my encourager that it's just like "chicken". still [eww..] oh well.. wednesday, i was at the airport to say bye to m [one of dearest dearest dearest friends here]. after seeing m set off, helped a friend who has been having issues. you'll be fine. did bowling that same night. my first time. not bad, not too bad. =) thursday, had a super quick lunch at mcdo with joseph. he had to meet with his recruiter that afternoon. being the insider, i met up with some people for joe's surprise party. hmmm. then st. john's town center after. then joe called. met up with him at my house. watched original sin and one-hour photo at home. movies in the theatre didnt thrill us enough. friday called for some business opportunity. joseph and i met up with chico and his dad at panera. very interesting, im thinking about it. ran some errands with joseph, then had lunch at their house. serious preparations for his party. so to start off, his mom and i worked on the lumpia while he went off to work. nice conversation. it's always fun listening to her mom's stories. i think we did more than 200 [?]. rested afterwards, was a little sleepy i remember. then joe got home. it felt different waiting for him come home while i am at his house, that was around 4 hours of being there at his house without him. all good. then we left to look around for gifts we can get his mom. we thought of getting her fishes [the big one might eat them], birds [but she really wanted a dog].. we ran out of other ideas. she had too many clothes already. for dinner, we went to his ninang hermie's house. good food. ms. hot/cold's card was there [grrrr]. oh well, then dave & buster's for a gift card. played a little. all good. saturday, oh yeah, lunch at pf chang's for his mom's birthday [which was actually sunday]. good lunch. went around the town center. i fell in love with the polaroid. then we [joe and i] had to leave because he had to return to work. hmm but something
far more important came up, so as some
false alarms. [darn] 3 parties that night to go to. 1st stop, a birthday party for one of joe's friends. then off to sarah's housewarming, one of my closest friends. nice house, but the frog bathroom and picture frame and candle holder [not for me]. i love you girl,im happy to hear the great news. brandon+sarah! and off to james' party [well, afterparty]. we ended up watching monsters inc. one of the best movies of all time.
keep the door open ;p oh my loonnggg day! joseph's mom's birthday was another long day, very well celebrated. morning of sunday after mass, we prepared [cooked actually] lunch. it was fun working with them in the kitchen. had lunch. then after lunch and convo session, joe and i went to hopefully get her a gift that night. felt sad because i also missed the last day of the annual adoption week for animals. oh well, we ended up not getting her anything material. we got to make her say yes to go out that night. i proposed the grape. loser, it was closed. so off to dave & busters [cheesecake here we come!] went there, had few drinks and then some. d&b was my treat. happy birthday auntie. the games was my dear joe's. his mom and dad as well had fun. i did. since according to his dad it was still early, we went to rusty grill. his mom danced a little. not longer that 20mins, we left. went home to their house. ok, something out of the ordinary.. ready? oh yeah, out of the blue, his mom wanted to say hi and called my parents in manila. no heart attack but joe and i were like.. [oh my gosh]. all good. everything's okay. it was a happy thing realy. =)
the following week was busy busy busy. for joe's party in particular.

monday: chores for me at home too. for a productive day, joe and i met up to watch just like heaven. it was alright. tuesday: gym & volleyball [finally, i felt healthier afterwards]. wednesday-friday: a lot of grocerying and food preps. within these days, i bought the stuff for joe's scrapbook, collected his baby pictures, got his dance shoes [he noticed it was missing eventually], i took the video clip of his parents' message to him, i had to record mine and do the scrapbook pages 2 to almost 5am of friday. oh well, friday was household meeting at stef's house. another healthy thing to do. good talk with sisters. then we went back to st.john's with some sfc. the big day several hours away!
joseph's party coming up soon! you'll love this part! =)
feels like it was a month ago. my my my.. ok, picking up from 2 weeks ago. [man that's long..]
here we go...

so yeah the flowers from mr. JD and the conference. got home monday. then tuesday night we went to see 40-year old virgin.
movie was ok. hilarious at some point. not too many sikat actors [sikat=really famous].
definitely not an expensive movie to make.
tuesday morning did not start on a happy note. =( hopefully things will be ok then.
then wednesday,
freedom! oh yeah! great news to me. im FREE! no more dealing with ms. hot/cold! yeepee! =) [if i could only put in thousands of smiles here!] with so much joy, i have to share it with joe. i went to visit him at his work to tell him the great news! he was surprised, that's good then. when he saw me, he knew something's up. so yeah i told him. never been so relieved! of course we had to celebrate, i had to celebrate. and a better way to put it, good dinner at a nice place, lighthouse grille. cheesecake was ok but not great. didnt make it in our honor list. [even if our server claimed theirs is the best, ummm] wow, freedom, it really felt good [you have no idea] yey, less drama now. =)
thursday [first day of being free] slept really well. met up with m for lunch. olive garden. manicotti+tea+long talk. then did a little shopping. m had to leave earlier than i had to so i went around checking stuff. i miss doing that. back home, i shop a lot. i meant there was even a time i bought 3 pairs of shoes, and i didnt realize i did it in 3 weeks. 1 pair each week?! well, bad thing is they were not the regular shoes, those were really nice shoes [i miss manila, sniff..]. i remember my mom asking me why i kept buying new ones. [cant help it, i
need shoes. ] but that day i resorted to just tops from express. not bad. im such an emotional shopper [always have been]. im happy or sad, something to celebrate, something to forget.. i mark it by buying something. love at first sight works for me when shopping. spending some quality time with myself, my phone rang. joe was on his way to the mall, perfect timing. [i was acutally looking for a gift for him] oh well, we met up then looked around. ran his errands with him. dinner at outback. for the first time
ever NO Hot Tea. cant believe it for a split second. poor me, i resorted to warm water [how pathetic] then went to my house. just chilled [as he puts it]. and yes, important discussion. all good, we're in this together.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOSEPH!. that was friday. oh my, looonnnnggg day! read on the next post. =)
Joseph's Birthday
this day started really early. i had to wake up around 6 to get ready for a 9am mass at [i forgot where, but at old dixie highway] an hour drive from our side of town. carmelite monastery. i went with him and his parents. went to hear mass, then met some new people. very refreshing i would say. joseph got Fr.Joseph's blesing for his birthday. think he said it in polish. neat. for me, the sweetest thing Fr. Joe did was the cake. that one below. just a brownie+small doughnut and a small candle.. tadan! blessed birthday cake! =) but before he actually blessed joe, he made some interesting remarks. talk about other blessings. =)

so after breakfast with some folks from the carmelite, they toured me around the parish's park. it was my first time,so even it was drizzling [raining actually] we continued on with the short tour. really nice. then we went to plantation bay and they showed me the houses they were interested in. nice houses. but of course i have my own preferences. those are in my wish list. lunch was at orlando ale house. his dad wanted to take us to the this lobster buffet place.we went around to look for it only to find out it opens at 4pm. oh well, perfect timing for lunch [we had lunch around 2]. after lunch we went to florida mall. walked around. i need that moisturizer. oh well.. went home afterwards. of course, how could i not enjoy the long drive. =)
ok, next chapter. =)
we stayed at my house until i got the greenlight. nothing grand. just dinner at pf chang's. so much for such short notice. thanks peeps! they brought the small gifts too. good food+good friends+cake+champagne+gifts=good time. he was happy. i was too. =) after dinner, we were getting tired [long day]. headed to my house, he opened the gifts, read the greetings, and took pics. then some quality time to end the night.
i will say it again, ive been very blessed to have you. happy birthday joseph! =)
saturday was an easy day. i went to visit joe at his work for us to make a video clip for m. she left last wednesday. i kidnapped him[with consent] from work, grabbed lunch at arby's. then dropped him off at work again. poor baby, always working hard. later that night was a dinner get-together for m. chilled then watched our samba routine for the Nth time. my gosh. sometimes still cant believe we made first place. all good. went home eventually. another early day the next day, Disney!
sunday, early again. went to hear the 7am mass with joe. then headed to my house to change. then up for the long drive again. got there in disney. went to animal kingdom, mgm then epcot. nice rides. i loved the stunt show. had dinner in china [seven dragons that is.] in a nutshell, it was great!

now let me tell you about the long drive going home... we knew it will be a challenge. both of us have not recovered from the lack of sleep from the previous days but oh well.. i tried soooo hard to stay up with him. we were struggling. [what a term!] anyway, ya, he continued driving. did stop for some gas for the car, some water, hot choco for me and red bull for him. drive. eventually i was on shut-down mode. fell asleep. tried waking up then fell asleep again. terrible. then eventually, he felt he was too tired to drive. we parked at a gas station and had some shut-eye for an hour and a half. then back to driving. 30mins later, we were home. we both dozed off not too long after. hay, sarap matulog! =)
fishing fishing
waking up that monday was a little bit more special. =)
cb. some lunch. he went home. slept. [there's never too much sleep.] missed m's dinner. no worries, we spent quality time the next day. aside from not feeling really well that day, or even when we were in orlando the day before, his dad's invitation to go fishing was set earlier. so went fishing with his dad, another uncle and joe that day.

as a first-time fishergirl, i didnt do too bad. his dad said i was a fast learner. i caught i think around ten fishes. =) and the view was nice. a good spot if you need some peace of mind [as you can see from the pic]. all good. was a good experience. something really new to me. went to their house. his dad cleaned the fishes for me while i sat there and we were just talking. he's been really nice to me. then went home to my house with joe. dinner. cb. then he went home. nice monday, nice monday. =)
monday, we went to bahama breeze for lunch. after lunch, we went to visit a shrine. [oh my i forgot the name, i think that was Mary Mother of the World..?] not sure sorry. it was beautiful. they said it is a tourist spot. went in mesmerized and said my prayers. afterwhich, we took several pictures. eventually parted ways. m and i wanted to go to the mall but it fell through. but of course, it was great spending good time with good friends. =)rode home with joe. long ride [well, ive always loved long walks, long drives, long talks, u do get the picture right..?] anyway, joe dropped me off at my house and he was off to play tennis with his pares. after tennis, he went back to my place. bought dinner at mcdo. tell you what, at one pointi felt i was being deprived of food. we went to 2 mcdos, both were closed so we had to drive around to find one. we finaly did. food! that was really weird, mcdos closed at 11pm?! oh well, went back to my house and ate.
Highlight of my day. Flowers from Joseph. =)

the whole time we were driving on our way back to jax, those were in his car. i even asked if they were real. those were 3 flowers which names i cant remember. [lilies?] i was totally oblivious those were for me. really nice surprise. a happy thought. =) [i still fall for flowers] thank you joe. u got me there. =)

that's margarette bond girl/my superstar and that's james "jon" bond. not a lot of pics because i just used my phone.
conference
friday 6am.ive been up, getting ready to leave for conference in orlando. i rode with m. one of my dearest friends. i drove the whole time going there. enjoyed our talks, given the more than 2 hour drive going there. we finally got there. at first registration was crazy. very busy but sfc-jax pulled it together. here are the highlights of each day.
friday: registration. praise and worship. reggae/latin dance competition. we have several dry-runs of the dance an hour before mass. then after mass we started getting ready.
then came the dance. we felt we did well. our customes were so - sultry for the girls and machismo for the guys. it's just amazing how it happened. we thought we wont get it all together because of the timing and positions.but during the dance, it was just so smooth. well not perfectly smooth, but smooth.=) right after the dance, back to registration booth. with our uber-nice dresses and make-up. now that was hot. heehee!
saturday: registration again. modelled our green shirt with jon, angeline and joe. nice. i was in the discernment workshop most part of the afternoon. being supportive of m, n and james. they were the speakers. they did a great job. then the talks. wow, those were just great. [everything was just great!] cheers! i would have to say that talk about God is Enough made me cry the hardest. there was this part that we reflected, and that we would go to a sister and console/pray over each other. it was taking over me, i was crying so hard. i had to leave the room. i went to the restroom then a sister from norcal came up to me and started praying over me. i thought a sister from jax would, so all the more it was surprising that a sister somewhere else did. i didnt see her face until i stopped crying. she cried with me. i felt her tears trickle down my face. we cried together. after ive calmed down, finally told her my name and talked a little. i asked her if she just happened to be in the restroom when i got there. she said she saw me leave the room and she just wanted to make sure im ok [at least]. she actually followed me. what an angel! finally made my way back to the conference. oh my.. I love you Lord.
then the 100% pure party. dancing, the fashion show and everything that came with it. i did a first-time thing.
joe, you're wonderful. =) abi sunday: mass. the conference was concluded sunday afternoon. we won the latin dance competition - first place! =) more praise and worship!
the conference was just amazing. it felt so liberating. i'm looking forward to next year. Praises, praises! =)
of course, there was an after-party. so sunday, after the conclusion of the conference, we tried to get some rest for some good time later that night. for dinner, we went to [i forgot the name of the place, it was chinese buffet]. so-so place, nothing spectacular. im disappointed with the sushi bar [calling avjv?] would you believe for the sushi "bar", they only had two choices [and not very good ones]. oh well. then after dinner, we went to citywalk. in a nutshell, the longest time we spent at one place was say..10 mins? we were hopping from one club to another. we were trying to get the feel of each club. well, i do like having a good time but i was a little tired so was joe [with his hurting leg] so on the last stop, we decided to just chill outside the club, think that was latin quarter. watched some music videos while waiting. finally went back to the hotel with the whole group. was so tired.
the following day - which was monday was a great day. in another post. ;p
